Havant RFC Mini & Junior Tour – Code of Conduct

HAVMANIA 2027 is about creating an unforgettable tour experience built around rugby, friendship, teamwork, respect and enjoyment for everyone involved. As representatives of Havant RFC, all players, parents, coaches and supporters are expected to uphold the values of the club throughout the tour.

PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT

All players are expected to:

Respect

Show respect to teammates, coaches, referees, opposition players, resort staff and members of the public at all times.
Respect all accommodation, facilities and tour venues.

Behaviour

Behave responsibly and positively throughout the tour.
Follow instructions from coaches, team managers and tour organisers immediately.
Remain with your team/group unless permission has been given.

Team Standards

Support teammates and contribute positively to the tour atmosphere.
Represent Havant RFC proudly both on and off the pitch.
Wear tour kit and club merchandise appropriately during organised activities.

Safety

Observe curfews and designated meeting times.
No dangerous behaviour, rough play in accommodation areas or misuse of facilities.
Any incidents, injuries or concerns must be reported to coaches or tour staff immediately.

PARENT & SUPPORTER CODE OF CONDUCT

Parents and supporters play a huge part in making HAVMANIA a success. We ask all adults to:

Lead by Example

Demonstrate positive behaviour and sportsmanship.
Encourage all players equally and support all teams respectfully.

Respect Match Officials & Staff

Respect referees, coaches, opposition supporters and resort staff.
Avoid inappropriate language or behaviour.

Accommodation & Resort Respect

Help maintain a safe and respectful environment within the resort.
Supervise younger children appropriately outside organised activities.

Tour Spirit

Embrace the HAVMANIA theme and help create a fun, inclusive and memorable experience for all families.

COACHES & TOUR STAFF

All coaches and staff will:

Prioritise player welfare and safeguarding at all times.
Promote enjoyment, inclusion and teamwork.
Ensure all players are supervised appropriately.
Uphold Havant RFC values throughout the tour.

IMPORTANT

Any serious misconduct, damage to property, unsafe behaviour or actions bringing Havant RFC into disrepute may result in:

Removal from tour activities
Parents being contacted immediately
Further disciplinary action following the tour
